The 1965 Aston Martin DB5 driven by Pierce Brosnan in GoldenEye will be auctioned on July 13.

Offered by Bonhams at its Goodwood Festival of Speed Sale, the 1965 Aston Martin DB5 is estimated to fetch between £1,200,000 ($1.6-million USD) to £1,600,000 ($2.13-million USD). This example was featured in the famous opening scene of GoldenEye, where Bond rips through the hills above Monaco while chasing a Ferrari.

When the car was purchased by its current owner in 2001, it became the most valuable piece of Bond memorabilia ever sold. It has been on display at The National Motor Museum and the Bond in Motion exhibition at Covent Garden.
